
Jeremy Highhouse is an engineer, producer, performer, synthesist, studio owner, and Ableton studio integration specialist. He has been teaching Live to individuals and small groups, with an emphasis on using the studio as an instrument, since 2005. A musician all of his life, Jeremy has studied keyboard and vocal technique, as well as studio engineering. Jeremy has used Live since version 3, and he specializes in using analog outboard effects and synthesizers in Ableton's digital environment. His experience includes teaching music technology to students of all ages and skill levels in an approachable, user-friendly style. Using his understanding of workflow and inspiration, he works to optimize the creative experience. Jeremy has recorded many different genres of music including HipHop, Rock, Folk, Electronica, Ambient and Drum and Bass.
Jeremy's current projects include RT60, Cutter Filtoff, and Stereognosis production. He also coordinates the PDX Live User Group. Always a DIY enthusiast, he is constantly experimenting in the studio with new ideas.
